The Stamford Y Youth Sports programs encourage and promote healthy and strong kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement and healthy competition rather than rivalry. Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators by contributing their time as volunteer coaches and team parents as well as being their kid’s greatest fan.

Preschool Soccer (Ages 3 - 5)

It’s never too early to start your soccer training!  Our pre-school soccer class will introduce your 3-5 year old to the fundamentals of dribbling and ball control in a fun and safe atmosphere. 

Kinder Karate (Ages 4 - 5)

Get ready to yell ‘Ki Ai!’  Your 4-5 year old will learn Karate basics while developing confidence and self-discipline through our kinder karate class with Master Barry.


Basketball Fundamentals (Grades K - 2)

Our basketball class puts the ‘FUN’ in fundamentals!  Your K-2nd grader will learn the basics of shooting, proper foot alignment, leg bend, hand position, arm angle and follow through.

Karate (Grades 1-9)

Karate 101 for your 1st through 9th graders!  Students learn Karate fundamentals and get in shape while having fun and developing self-discipline. 

Youth Indoor Soccer (Grades 1-9)

Your 1st through 9th grader will learn soccer fundamentals and play a mini team game each class.  Games will focus on putting class drill skills into action. 

Basketball Fundamentals (Grades K-9)

Looking to improve your child’s explosiveness on the court?  Your K-9th grader will get the necessary skills in our Basketball Fundamentals class including dribbling, passing, pivoting, ball swings, jump stops and triple threat!

Pee Wee Lacrosse (Grades 1-3)

Let us introduce your 1st-3rd grader to the non-stop action of Lacrosse! Our class is perfect for beginner players looking to try a new sport in a fun and nurturing atmosphere.

Pee Wee Tennis (Grades 1-3)

Tennis anyone?  We focus on foot-work and swing mechanics through fun games in this intro to tennis class.
