Stamford Family YMCA Receives $25,000 Grant from the Legg Mason

We would like to express our gratitude for your generous grant of $25,000 to this year’s Summer Camp. Our campers engage in activities that support their physical and emotional development and emerge as thoughtful contributors to their groups. They participate in various sports, arts & crafts, dance, special events, theme-based field trips, and swim lessons. Campers develop intangible life skills that include negotiation, collaboration, and active listening.

In these uncertain times, the YMCA continues to support youth and families. We have remained flexible to the unpredicted needs of the community and have applied our resources to increase financial assistance to families who require more support due to disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. 

The generous support of Legg Mason helps us maintain our mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
