UPDATED MASK POLICY EFFECTIVE 11/8/21

The safety of our members and staff is our top priority. To provide you with a meaningful, supportive, and safer Y experience for our members and staff, the Stamford Family YMCA has updated its mask policy beginning Monday, November 8, 2021.

All members and staff will be required to show proof of vaccination. 

Members and staff that are fully vaccinated (2 weeks after your final Covid-19 vaccination dose) will no longer be required to wear a mask inside the Y. If you do not feel comfortable going mask-free for any reason, you should continue to wear a mask or face covering.

The Stamford YMCA will require masks for staff and participants in our LEAD Academy After School program. 

We will require all staff, members, and guests who have not been fully vaccinated – including children between the ages of 2 and 11 to adhere to the C.D.C.’s and C.T. State guidelines to continue to wear a mask while at the Stamford Family YMCA.

The Stamford Family YMCA reserves the right to cancel the membership of any member or suspend visitation privileges of any guest who does not follow the Code of Conduct at any time while in our facility or during participation Y-affiliated program or event, regardless of location.

Anyone who has not yet been fully vaccinated who violates our mask policy will immediately be terminated from the Stamford Family YMCA.

We would like to thank all staff and members for remaining flexible, understanding, and supportive as the Y has continued to adapt.
